Feedback for magazine cover design

In this post, I present my initial magazine cover design for Magnetic magazine. As part of the course requirements, I shared the design in the forum to receive constructive feedback from my tutor, and it was Drieke. Her response highlighted several conceptual and visual weaknesses, particularly regarding the clarity and translation of the main article theme. I received this feedback openly, as I was already aware that the design lacked strength and cohesion, being a bit off. Although Drieke suggested reconsidering the main article, I chose to continue developing the existing concept. I saw this as an opportunity to challenge myself creatively and to work toward a stronger visual solution rather than avoiding a complex problem. This decision became an important part of my learning process, pushing me to refine both my conceptual thinking and execution.
