Before I dive in into the research and idea generation, I have to check some points to ensure good and productive work. So, in a nutshell, my target market will be age range from 30 to 50, people who are interested in progressive music culture, festival life, and looking for a belonging with their people. The format of the magazine is set to be 203mm (width) x 276mm (height), in portrait position.

Now, I have to choose 4 articles and emphasize one, which will also be featured on the cover. So, I chose:

  1. News/Music. Kormac evokes the spirit of first nights out in Dublin on new single Hazy.

2. Events. Groove Cruise Announces 2027 Voyage on Allure of the Seas.

3. Culture. Review: Wyoming Whiskey National Parks No.4 – A Bourbon for Campfires, Vinyl Nights, and Cocktails at Home.

4. Industry. Learn The Essentials Of How Editorial and Algorithmic Playlists Impact Your Streaming Revenue.

My cover article will be the Industry article about learning the essentials of how editorial and algorithmic playlists impact our streaming revenue. I chose this article to be on my cover because it will be useful for the reader to understand Spotify playlists and how money actually flows. Since it does sound abstract, and all about diagrams, and numbers, I will use some simple illustrations, and strong colors to visually talk with the viewer and explain WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT.
