Online Communities

For this lesson task my job is to list online communities I am part of and that are helping me as a graphic design student. Until now, I haven’t thought of any actual communities I am in, I am kind of a lonely wolf, but indeed the communities help each other, and sharing knowledge and inspiration. As for my point of view, these are the communities I am in (or kid of):

LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is a great platform full of wast amounts of graphic designers, artists, and many other professionals who are sharing their knowledge and inspiration. Very easily can hear and learn a lot from LinkedIn Learning, which is very much supporting me as a student overall by providing a good amount of accessible and certified courses.

Instagram.

Same as LinkedIn, Instagram platform is full of professionals who are sharing their knowledge, inspirations, tips, and behind-the-scenes productions for the wide public. Instagram is less official, so the videos are short, but still engaging and entertaining. In this platform can also join a VIP memberships and receive a special content.

DeviantArt.

This platform is not very much widely famous, but still great and combining a large amount of artists. DeviantArt mostly works as an inspiration of the visuals, also having forums and places to share opinions, knowledge, and inspiration.

Pinterest.

Of course, how without the Pinterest?! This platform is widely known as a great inspirational place for all sorts of people for all sorts of needs. Fashion, food, diet, job, healing, spirituality, arts, design, etc. So, of course, Pinterest holds a lot of inspiration and very much often comes with the original websites where I can dive into the original sources.
