A valuable task I am up to make right now is about identifying three social media platforms I would use for the fashion, restaurant, tech startup, and travel agency. Also, to explain my choices of those platforms and how they would be most effective to these businesses.
For my social media platform choices I have made a short research next to my own opinion. I have visited many websites to these industries and have checked where to they mostly share their content and what type of social media is shared with users in their official websites.
Fashion Brand.
- Instagram. Instagram is great for sharing fashion pieces (clothing, shoes, models) and informing users about latest trends. Also good for short videos.
- TikTok. Great for sharing short fashion related videos, can be very engaging and inspirational.
- X. I believe that according to the research I made, X can be very affective and engaging platform to share latest news about the trends, also to share the pictures of the fashion and reach out to a wide community of fashion people.
Restaurant.
- Instagram. Self explanatory that Instagram is the best for the restaurant industry because of it’s great flexibility to share high quality pictures and videos with the world. Engaging visuals are the best for a hungry eye. As it is said, first we eat with our eyes, after with mouths!
- Facebook. Despite the possibility of sharing high quality images and videos about the food, restaurants themselves, promotions, and news, Facebook gives a great possibility for users to express their opinion by leaving a feedback about the place, also gives contact information, and can work as a parent social media directing users to more trending platforms.
- X. Same as for the fashion industries, X can work great for restaurants when it comes about sharing news about the places, inviting people, or sharing a promotion.
Tech Startup.
- Facebook. Facebook is a great platform to share industries latest updates, sharing HQ images and videos, also creating a connecting feeling.
- YouTube. YouTube for this industry works as a wide platform to share large amount educational, informational videos.
- LinkedIn. For tech startup industry the professional platform as LinkedIn can work as a good tool to find new team members, also update the followers about the newest updates, and connect with new people all around the world.
Travel Agency.
- Facebook. Facebook same as for the restaurant industries, can work for travel agencies as a visual platform where can videos and images be shared, what would invite new people. Also the feedback section can be something that people are relying when looking into the travel agency.
- Instagram. I believe that Instagram can work for travel agency industry as a nice commercial seller by the pictures and videos posted. Also a great platform to announce news, updates, and promotional events!
- YouTube. The platform can work for travel agencies by sharing not only the hotels and places videos, but also sharing useful information about the services they are giving.
